MAUREEN HOOD AND SEAN ROYAL, WITH MARIA WINKLER – AUGUST 5-29, 2020.

Sacramento, CA: Archival Gallery will present MAUREEN HOOD and SEAN ROYAL with MARIA WINKLER on exhibition August 5-29, 2020.

Hood and Royal present individual works along with new collaborative pieces in collage and sculpture. Hood presents “Outside, Inside, and In Between – Architectural Studies,” a showcase of buildings and cityscapes. Royal explores storytelling through sculpture and assemblage, along with paintings from his popular Death Valley series. The artists will also show new works which combine elements of both styles.

Winkler presents a show on our Front Wall called “Feathered Friends” which represents the birds that live in our region of Northern California. These colored pencil drawings are based on native bird photography by Linda Hall.

COVID-19 UPDATE: We do not anticipate a public Second Saturday reception for this exhibition. Visitors are welcome during normal business hours with no appointment needed, and must wear mask or face coverings at all times.
