FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
A VINTAGE HOLIDAY – DECEMBER 2-30, 2021
Sacramento, November 1, 2021 – Archival Gallery will present A VINTAGE HOLIDAY, a year-end holiday group show on exhibition December 2-30, 2021. This experience includes Archival Gallery’s signature display of vintage light-up Santas in the front window. The gallery will be open for a Second Saturday Public Reception on December 11 from 5-8PM.
Decembers at Archival Gallery are a special time when we ask artists to create new works for the holidays in their primary medium of painting, sculpture, raku, collage, glass, and more. The artists are free to interpret their vision of A Vintage Holiday, whether traditional or old world style.
In addition to the group exhibition, the Gallery displays a collection of vintage Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and Snowmen in the front window for guests and drivers on Folsom Boulevard to enjoy. These light-up displays are a popular attraction for fans of holiday lights.
Featured December artists include Naomi Bautista, Kip Bridges, Richard Feese, Davy Fiveash, Maureen Hood, Mariellen Layne, Erin Martinelli, Linda Nunes, Corey Okada, Linda Paris, Maria Winkler, and more.
Gallery visitors are welcome during normal business hours with no appointment needed, and must wear a mask or face covering when indoors for the safety of staff and guests.
