INTRODUCTIONS 2023 – JUNE 29-JULY 29, 2023
Sacramento, June 1, 2023 – Archival Gallery will present INTRODUCTIONS 2023, June 29 – July 29, 2023. The Introductions series is a Sacramento tradition for art galleries to present new and emerging artists, or established artists who are showing in the gallery for the first time. This year Archival Gallery introduces John Angell, Russ Reich, and Jerry Cagle. The Gallery will be open for a Second Saturday Public Reception on July 8 from 5-8PM.
John Angell presents a collection of photographic encaustic work inspired by still life and landscape scenes. Russ Reich’s pop-style paintings remind us of bygone days with animated characters and circus performers, along with vintage marketing graphics. Jerry Cagle shares sculptures to make us move, whether on roads or through the air, to add an element of motion to this months collection.

In Sacramento since 1983, Archival Gallery presents contemporary Northern California Fine Art and Picture Framing Services. Curated by D. Oldham Neath, the gallery exhibit rotates monthly. Archival Gallery is located at 3223 Folsom Boulevard in East Sacramento and is open Tuesdays – Saturdays from 11AM-4PM, also by appointment and for special events.
