For Immediate Release

SACRAMENTO, CA – October 10, 2018 Archival Gallery presents Reflections by D.L. Thomas. Exhibition runs November 6 – 30, 2018. Join us for a Second Saturday reception on November 10 at 6PM featuring complimentary refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artists.

D.L. Thomas will be joined by assemblage artist Robert Bagnasco Murray and three-dimensional collage artist Rose Kelly.

Reflections represents a new portrait series by D.L. Thomas, featuring black and white and mixed-media paintings of friends near and far. These works capture emotions, age, and reflections of faces we hold dear.

“A decades long commitment to abstraction which has nurtured and sustained formalist concerns has also built the technical foundation for the figurative pieces. All the works are hermetically linked since there is a beginning of figurative that moves through abstraction and then returns to figuration. As with any artist this stylistic trajectory defines and summarizes all of the work and in effect becomes an artistic I.D.” -D.L. Thomas

Archival Gallery, in Sacramento since 1983, presents contemporary Northern California figurative works and fine art framing services. Managed by D. Oldham Neath, the gallery exhibit rotates monthly. Visit archivalgallery.com for more information.
