ARTHUR SORDILLO REMEMBRANCE – OCTOBER 5-26, 2019.

Sacramento, CA: Archival Gallery will present Arthur Sordillo Remembrance, a retrospective – on exhibition October 5-26, 2019. This will be the final showing of the artist’s work. Also showing in October, Sean Royal presents works in acrylic in honor of Arthur Sordillo.

Proceeds from the sale of Arthur’s work will benefit the Artists in Crisis fund.

Join us for a Second Saturday reception on October 12 at 6PM featuring complimentary refreshments and an opportunity to meet Sean Royal.

“Arthur Sordillo was born in Boston MA in 1944 and died 2013 in New York. He tried during all his life to balance his interest in art and motorcycle maintenance.” – from Arthur’s estate.

Upcoming Exhibitions at Archival Gallery:

  • September: Sacramento Superheroes, a tribute to the late Mel Ramos featuring works by the artist, David Truman Tracy, Carrie Cottini, Robert Bowen, Corey Okada, and Gabriel Navar.
  • October: Arthur Sordillo Remembrance, a retrospective featuring works by the late Arthur Sordillo with gallery proceeds benefiting the Artists in Crisis Fund. Also showing Sean Royal on the Front Wall.

  • December: Salon. A floor to ceiling group show in the style of the Parisian Salon.
