HEN PARTY, AN ARCHIVAL GALLERY GROUP EXHIBITION – MARCH 7-30, 2019.

Sacramento, CA: Archival Gallery presents Hen Party, a group exhibition March 7-30, 2019. Join us for a Second Saturday reception on March 9 at 6PM featuring complimentary refreshments and an opportunity to meet the featured artists.

Hen Party is inspired by “a social gathering of women.” Archival Gallery plays on this definition to include our region’s agricultural uniqueness with representations of barnyard birds in all mediums and by artists of all genders. Roosters, chickens, owls, and hens are flocking to the gallery for a social party this spring.

Featured Artists include: Phyllis Cottrell, Emily Elders, Richard Feese, Lindsay Filby, Cynthia Hipkiss, Maureen Hood, Mariellen Layne, Jill Montre, Carol Mott, Corey Okada, Kellie Raines, and Don Yost.

Live Music: Hen Party will feature live music from Cactus Pete and his 78RPM Record Roundup.

Also Showing in March: Leslie McCarron’s 31 Days, a thirty-one piece frieze of small works. Each oil painting was completed during a single day of January 2019.
