For Immediate Release
SACRAMENTO, CA – September 10, 2018 – Archival Gallery presents New Works by Patricia Altschul. Exhibition runs October 4 – November 3, 2018. Join us for a Second Saturday reception on October 13 at 6PM featuring complimentary refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artist.
The patterns of thought that illuminate a face, animate a body, or cause it to be still and in repose, glimpsed moments of an indeterminate quiet, and the unexpected and revealing moment that might be a window into the wholly private worlds of thought belonging to each of us, these are what I hope to illustrate in my work.
Patricia Altschul was born in 1958 in Hempstead, NY. She has a background in painting, studio art and teaching. Her work has been reviewed by The Sacramento Bee’s Victoria Dalkey, is regularly featured in the KVIE Art Auction Award Winners (multiple years), and has been displayed in Sacramento City Hall as part of the mayor’s arts initiative. She currently resides in Sacramento, CA.
