SACRAMENTO, CA – August 27, 2018 Archival Gallery is celebrating 35 years in Sacramento with a group show, The Box it Came In. Exhibition runs September 6 – 29. Join us for a Second Saturday reception on September 8 at 6PM featuring complimentary refreshments and an opportunity to meet the artists.

The Box it Came In features cigar-box art by artists who have been part of the Archival Gallery family for ten years or more. Artists were able to choose a cigar box and embellish or alter it with any medium desired. This popular group show returns to Archival Gallery as we celebrate our 35th anniversary event.

Featured artists in the collection include: Patricia Altschul, Gary Dinnen, Richard Feese, Maureen Hood, Marilyn Kuksht, Mariellen Layne, Corey Okada, Sean Royal, Victoria Smith, Roger Thibault, DL Thomas, Maria Winkler, and more.

Archival Gallery, in Sacramento since 1983, presents contemporary Northern California figurative works and fine art framing services. Managed by D. Oldham Neath, the gallery exhibit rotates monthly. Visit archivalgallery.com for more information.

Archival Gallery is located at 3223 Folsom Boulevard in Sacramento and is open Tuesday – Saturday from 11AM-4PM and for special events.
