Sacramento, CA: Archival Gallery will present MICHAEL HIMOVITZ REDUX, a retrospective show and fundraiser supporting the 35th anniversary of the Artists in Crisis Fund – on exhibition March 5-28, 2020.
This group show features artists who exhibited or were represented by the Himovitz Gallery during the 1980s including: Suzanne Adan, JR Adan, John Stuart Berger, Mark Bryan, Daniel DiPierro, Al Farrow, Kurt Fishback, Anne Gregory, Melinda Susan Johnson, Tony Natsoulas, Robert Pengelly, Mick Sheldon, Stephanie Skalisky, Michael Stevens, and more.
Michael Himovitz was co-founder of Sacramento’s Second Saturday – a continuing monthly celebration of fine arts in the city. The gallery’s final exhibition was in May 2001 at the Del Paso location (ref).
