Meet the Team

D. Oldham Neath, Owner / Director

D. Oldham Neath is a cornerstone of the Northern California arts community, bringing over four decades of expertise to her role as the owner and director of Archival Gallery. Since its establishment in 1983, she has curated the gallery into Sacramento’s longest-running contemporary art space.

Beyond the gallery walls, D. is known for co-founding the city’s iconic Second Saturday art walk and the Chalk It Up! festival. Her leadership history includes seven years managing the Solomon Dubnick Gallery and a three-year tenure as President of the Center for Contemporary Art.

A dedicated advocate for the non-profit sector, D. served as the Art Curator for KVIE Public Television (2009–2019) and has championed the Artists in Crisis Fund since 1986. She currently serves on the Crocker Art Museum art auction committee and continues to share her passion for regional talent as “The Art Lady” on Good Day Sacramento.

Heath Buckmaster, Marketing Director

Heath Buckmaster is a marketing, fundraising, and business development professional who specializes in visual arts, Heath has worked with artists, galleries, frame shops, and artist collectives to promote and market the importance of the visual arts. He is the Marketing Director of Archival Gallery; Marketing Director and Board Member of the Elk Grove Fine Arts Center; Marketing Chair, Gallery Curator and Board Member of the MANN Center for the Arts; Board President of Motif Blue, Inc.

Heath has curated and judged art competition shows for both youth and adult artists, and was previously seen on KVIE Public Television in Sacramento as the Director of On-Air Fundraising and executive producer of the nation’s only live televised fine art auction. He is a co-founder of the KVIE PBS Art Gallery, KVIE PBS Legacy Collection, Sacramento Mural Alley, and Oxide Gallery of Fine Art.

Heath is an avid collector of artwork by Northern California and North Carolina artists.
