FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BARN DANCE – JUNE 3-26, 2021 AT ARCHIVAL GALLERY

Sacramento, May 1, 2021 – Archival Gallery will present Barn Dance, a group exhibition, June 3-26, 2021. This show features works by local artists in celebration of our agricultural region and the spirit of the dance.

We are proud of our region’s history in producing agricultural products that feed the world, but there’s more to the story. The dusty smells of wood and hay and the sounds of fiddles and banjos that lit up the night for a good old fashioned Barn Dance – these are the memories we want to remember and celebrate. Put on your dancing shoes, your biggest dresses and hats, and join us for the Barn Dance.

Featured artists include Kathy Dana, Emily Elders, Jill Estroff, Cynthia Hipkiss, Maureen Hood, Jon Lowe, Erin Martinelli, Carol Mott-Binkley, Linda Nunes, Helen Plenert, Kellie Raines, Sean Royal, Hilary von Joo, and more.

The Gallery will be open for a Second Saturday public reception with respectful distancing and limited capacity on June 12 at 5PM.

Gallery visitors are welcome during normal business hours with no appointment needed, and must wear a mask or face covering at all times.
