FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

INTRODUCTIONS 2022 – JULY 7-30, 2022

Sacramento, June 1, 2022 – Archival Gallery will present INTRODUCTIONS 2022, July 7-30, 2022. The Introductions series is a Sacramento tradition for art galleries to present new and emerging artists, or established artists who are showing in the gallery for the first time. This year Archival Gallery introduces William Peterson and Kiny McCarrick. The Gallery will be open for a Second Saturday Public Reception on July 9 from 5-8PM.

Peterson presents Perspectives, Journeys and Connections, a series of work in ceramics that shares his “fascination with the infinite variations of glaze, texture and shape. The geometric formations of man and nature…often find their way into my art as I express the journeys, connections and perspective that are constantly evolving throughout one’s life.”

McCarrick is known for her finely detailed emBROODery art that is inspired by anatomy, life, death, and morbid curiosity. For this new exhibition she extends her inspiration into the natural world with embroidered landscapes and natural scenes.
