Sacramento, September 1, 2022 – Archival Gallery will present RELIQUARY a group show, September 29 – October 29, 2022. The Gallery will be open for a Second Saturday Public Reception on October 8 from 5-8PM.
“In the Main Gallery we present Reliquary, a group show inspired by the ancient tradition of creating containers for relics. Also referred to as shrines and phylacteries, these works in all mediums will embody the storage of physical objects associated with important individuals.”
Featured artists in the Reliquary collection: Suzanne and Jim Adan, Athena Alber, Phyllis Cottrell, Shenny Cruces, Lindsey Dillon, Al Farrow, Maureen Hood, Erin Martinelli, Corey Okada, Sean Royal, Michael Stevens, DL Thomas, and Eric Wyss.
