Sean Royal and Paul Basye – June 5-28, 2025
SACRAMENTO, May 1, 2025 – Archival Gallery will present New Works by Sean Royal and a collection by Paul Basye June 5-28, 2025. A Second Saturday public reception will be held on June 14 from 5-8 p.m. with refreshments, music, and an opportunity to meet the featured artists.
“Sean Royal extends his popular Death Valley series into works in three dimensions and with found object embellishments. Known for his spray paint textures that create vivid natural landscapes, these New Works in wall-hanging sculpture add metal, wood and additional mixed-media to the collection. Local artist Paul Basye joins the exhibition with his mid-century modern paintings and small sculpture.“
Guests will also enjoy an expanded Gallery Backroom, California Art Gift Shop, and our working artist studio occupied by Davy Fiveash.
