FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Introductions 2026 – July 1-25, 2026
SACRAMENTO, June 1, 2026 – Archival Gallery will present Introductions 2026, July 1-25, 2026. The Introductions series is a Sacramento tradition for art galleries to present new and emerging artists, or established artists who are showing in the gallery for the first time. This year Archival Gallery introduces Jessica Aster and Matt Zidar. The Gallery will hold a Second Saturday public reception on July 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
“Jessica Aster finds her way back to her creative roots through clay, embracing the joy, mess, and play of working with mud, after a career in software development. Matt Zidar creates paintings that observe the world with curiosity, reverence, and feeling while focusing on the beauty found in nature.”
In addition to the main displays, the Gallery also includes a rotating selection of art gifts and estate sale items in the Backroom including a collection of landscapes by Miles Hermann.
