Autumn Landscapes with Richard Stein – October 1-31, 2026
SACRAMENTO, C.A. – September 1, 2026 – Archival Gallery will present Autumn Landscapes with Richard Stein, October 1 to 31, 2026. The Gallery will hold a Second Saturday public reception on October 10 from 5 to 8 p.m.
“California’s agricultural fields—when observed from an aerial perspective—can reveal textures and patterns that are not readily apparent at ground level. My drawings and paintings are my interpretations and manipulations of those textures and patterns to create a representation of what can be seen in life. I use a careful compositional layout, a particular choice of colors, thickened paint and a selection of certain tools to create the final image,” says artist Richard Stein.
The public is invited to visit the Gallery and Art Gift Shop for a free public art reception on Second Saturday, October 10 starting at 5 p.m., with complimentary refreshments, live music by Cactus Pete, and an opportunity to meet the featured artist.
