Class Fee: $85 (canvas and palette paper provided), $120 (all materials provided)

In this class we will concentrate on:

• How to begin a painting
• Composition
• Harmony of color
• How to mix color
• How to interpret light on our subject
• Hues, value and chroma

Materials:

• canvas (provided)
• palette (palette paper provided)
• palette knife
• turpentine
• Liquin or your preferred medium
• If you need a starter paint sent, here is a complete set >

Pigments:

• titanium white (other whites are acceptable)
• lemon yellow
• cadmium yellow
• yellow ochre
• burnt sienna
• vermillion
• magenta
• ultramarine

Remember the thing about colors is that colors make other colors, so don’t stress if you can’t get them all.
